Belgrade to Montenegro transfer

Podgorica, Budva, Tivat, Kotor, Herceg Novi. From your door in Belgrade to your apartment on the coast, with the luggage, no changes. About seven hours to the sea, with a break wherever you like.

The route

The Miloš Veliki motorway to Preljina, then via Užice and Zlatibor to Bijelo Polje and the Dobrakovo border. In Montenegro the road runs through Mojkovac and Kolašin to Mateševo, from where the motorway takes you to Podgorica. From Podgorica it's another hour to Budva via Cetinje or the Sozina tunnel, and a little further along the coast to Tivat and Herceg Novi.

It's a long drive, but one of the most beautiful in the region: the Morača canyon and the Tara, then the descent to the sea. The driver knows where to stop for a good lunch and which border is quicker. In July and August there can be queues at Dobrakovo and around Budva, so we leave earlier.

Who books this route

Families going on holiday with a lot of luggage who don't want to drive ten hours themselves. People with a flat on the coast who go down several times a year. Passengers flying from Tivat or Podgorica. And the other way round: guests from the coast coming to Belgrade for appointments, fairs and meetings.
