The route
The E-70 motorway past Sremska Mitrovica to Batrovci, then the Croatian A3 past Slavonski Brod to Zagreb. The border is at Batrovci and Bajakovo, one after the other. Off season it's fifteen minutes; in summer, with queues heading to the coast, it can be an hour. The driver follows the border situation and leaves earlier when needed.
